Naturopathy

Naturopathy, also known as naturopathic medicine, is a form of alternative healthcare that employs natural remedies to assist the body in healing itself. Its emphasis is on nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, and non-invasive therapies as opposed to solely depending on medications or surgical procedures.

What can naturopathy be used for?

At the Optimum Health Centre, you will discover a comprehensive holistic approach to treating your entire body and mind by utilizing both ancient and modern techniques aimed at assisting the body in its healing process. The objective is to completely restore your body and mind to its "Optimum Health" instead of merely alleviating symptoms that may eventually contribute to more illness.  This can usually be achieved through natural approaches like cleansing, nutritional modifications, herbology, and body work.

Depending on the symptamology, a wide range of techniques may be implemented rather than just taking a drug, which usually only serves to mask or cover up the symptom.  Aiding the body in removing wastes and boosting the immune system by providing the right nutrients allows the body to heal itself as nature intended.  This approach is less invasive and more long-lasting.
